Planned flagship publication
State of AI in UK Drug & Alcohol Services
A proposed 2027 sector report examining how organisations are using, governing and evaluating AI. The report does not yet exist and no findings are being claimed.
The proposed project
A grounded picture of adoption across the sector.
The project could combine an organisational survey with carefully designed qualitative work, transparent methods and lived-experience input. Its purpose would be to establish what is actually happening, rather than repeat generic technology forecasts.
Any future publication would distinguish reported practice from independently verified evidence and would describe limitations, participation and potential response bias.
